About the Book
The esteem of wisdom of Indian medicinal plants as botanical medicines, flavoring agents, chemical reservoirs, and alternative medication has created global challenges for medicinal plants documentation and conservation. Such challenges, which frequently face a number of competing demands related to conservation, cultivation, protection, standardization, sustainability, world trade, and a host of other issues, require a careful balance of limited resources with markets and a reconciliation of plant cultures. Medicinal and aromatic plant collection can support indigenous cultures, but can also endanger plant communities. Plant cultivation can increase yields, but requires an understanding of plant-environment interactions that could alter metabolic pathways. World trade in these species can make plant material available, but needs a regulatory system to impose uniform standards for quality. While the study of medicinal plant involves a wide range of subject areas, recognition of the challenges. Field tests, biotechnology, tissue culture, clinical trials, economic principles, and other tools help provide a valuable assessment on expectations and future directions.
The present book reveals the research skills in plant sciences. The comprehensive medicinal plants wisdom and phytochemical evaluation courses of action technique have been discussed. This is the cumulative bunch of medicinal plants wisdom. Here the contributors were involved from the states of India, so that the entitled of the book has mentioned as ??Wisdom of Indian medicinal plants?? The authors have contributed their own research and review works. The works of plants information consolidated according to their application framed into the chapters. There are group of authors or individual contributors have found with their own chapters. I hope that definitely the current book will be useful to the upcoming plant science researchers and students.
