About the Book
The micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is aptly regarded as the backbone of the Indian economy. MSMEs encompass vast scope covering activities like manufacturing, servicing, retailing, financing, construction, and infrastructure. Experience shows that nations that support their courageous entrepreneurs have grown and prospered over the last 50 years, while nations that have placed barriers to the growth of their small business enterprises have been rated low on the performance graph. Even among countries that previously discouraged or prohibited such activity in favour of the government as the driving for economic growth, there is now growing reorganization of the importance of fostering entrepreneurial activity.
Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) have gained increased attention in India in recent times, considering their strategic importance to the economy and the country. MSMEs play an important role in generating employment 48.8 million MSMEs in the country provide employment to 111.4 million people. MSMEs in the manufacturing sector alone produce more than 6,000 products and contribute 7.7% of the GDP of the country. Similarly, MSMEs in the services sector contribute 27.4% of the country??s GDP.
The key Objective of the study is to identify various challenges faced by MSMEs in sourcing to finance during different stages of their lifecycle.

S.Partha Sarathi is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration at Annamachrya PG College of Computer Studies, Rajmapet, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is pursuing Ph.D at JNTUA, Ananthapuramu in Finance at Department of Management He completed his M.Sc., in Biochemistry in the year 2006 from SV University, Tirupathi and MBA (Finance) from JNTUA, Ananthapuramu in the year 2012. He has 9 years of experience in research and teaching. He was qualified in APSET in the year 2018 and ratified as Assistant Professor at JNTUA in the year 2019. He is the author of more than 18 research papers published in various national & international journals with high Impact factor and citations.
He attended more than 12 National and International conferences/seminars and presented papers that appeared in the proceedings (Book Chapters) published with ISBN. He also served as clinical research associate in the field of clinical research.

Dr. Nalla Bala Kalyan is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Management Studies at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. He holds a Doctorate in Finance from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati in the year 2014. He has 12 years of experience in research and teaching. Right now he is serving as a Ph.D. Supervisor of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. He is the author of more than 70 research papers published in various national & international journals with high Impact factor and citations, Top 10% global authors of SSRN-Elsevier. He has attended more than 25 National and International conferences/seminars and presented papers that appeared in the proceedings (Book Chapters) published with ISBN and he has Authored & Edited 15 books. He has posted more than 15 guest articles in Magazines and Blogs. He is the Editorial/Advisory/Reviewer Board Member of more than 45 National & International Journals. He has organized many programs (DST-NIMAT Projects, Govt. of India) for imparting entrepreneurship skills among students and faculty. He has taken an interest in 20 Faculty Development Programs.
He received several outstanding awards for his academic achievements. He is the Most Promising Educators in Higher Education across India for the Year 2019- Honoured by ULeKtZ Wall of Fame, Best Paper Award by Institute of Scholars, Mewadev Laurel Award by Contemporary Literary Society, Excellence Teaching in Higher Education award for the year 2019 by (SMCRAC) Saint Martin's Centre for Research & Accreditation Commission, Melbourne, Distinguished Scientist Award by IJIEMR-Elsevier SSRN, Best Young Scientist Award by Novel Research Academy, Distinguished Teacher Award from MTC Global. He has various professional affiliations as a Fellow Member of FSASS, FMERC, FSROSET, and FIARA.
